Had our continental breakfast plus orange juice and got already for some more sight seeing by walking.  ...  took along my raincoat but decided to leave my umbrella and... his and ray's coats home as his weren't as resistant to water.  We grabbed number 11 bus on corner - first one to come along!  - and got off at Liverpool station.   Walked and thought we could find London Bridge - must state here that London is a complete maze of winding bending little charming streets. whose names change every other block or so.  We asked or both finally and found it.  Got exactly in the middle and had such a ...view of the Tower Bridge to our left way off in a haze.  took a picture and started to rain in buckets.  ...as always in london it had sprinkled in sun or shade.

We got soaked completely before we got back to the start of it.  Found refuge under a canopy where there positively out-of-a-book cyclists were there.

Hailed a cab and went back to hotel.  14/6 - (2.10) Got changed and this time took both raincoats and umbrella - met our tour guide in lobby and talked to him briefly.  Have a meeting at 5:00 pm tomight with others if they are here.

Set out again and walked to ... station.  ...  to the first red bus driver near there and took bus.  Riding on upper deck to our east.... 1 1/2 hours to end of line and 1 1/2 hours back.   I couldn't begin to describe the beautiful streets.solidly packed with buildings... twisting every which way.  Even alleys had alleys.  or into what we call...  row after row of three story houses butted up to eachother.   Back in time for 5:00pm meeting.  ...our tour conductor is from ... he has a french mother.

Off again we wlaked and walked after sharing a cab with another couple to Picadilly Circuswalked all...there and Trafalagar Square and Waterloo and Lichstersher Square, The Strand - and on and on finally all restaurants seemed to be closed...Found the Golden Egg finally - Kind of an English ... bacon and eggs place.  Took a cabby back to hotel as our feet were worn out and my hip sockets felt like I had been riding a horse for a week straight as that is the feeling you get riding the upper deck of a London bus.

P.S.  British pork sausage is different.

p.p.s. saw a huge communist parade or demonstartion  - against everything.

ppps. saw some weird ... too
