Had coffee midnight our time...Dawn broke through. Had orange juice, sweet roll and coffee around 1:00 am our time. 7:00 am London time.
Arrived London airport.
2:30 am our time
8:30 am London time
a couple took our picture thinking we were an English couple (page note to the side)
after trip on upper deck of bus to city terminal took most interesting cab...to our hotel and our room wasn't ready till noon we went for a walk and discovered the whole of the city of Westminster had lunch for the Albert Pub. Where we had steak and kidney pie, spring buns, ...apple tarts and coffee. Went back to a double .. bedded room and napped and bathed. Walked again. Stumbled on to Buckingham Palace. Hyde Park, Wellingtons Arch Westminster Roman catholic cathedral. All kinds of interesting. streets looking for Knightsbridge. We'll find it tomorrow. Had a most unusual if not delicious meal on the hotel dining room where we discgusted a french waiter by ordering red wine to drink it before our meal! Had a nice talk with an Italian waiter.
