Wake up tired to a miserable rainy day. After breakfast are all supposed to take a sight seeing tour. Most unsatisfactory. Walked the bridge again, saw the Alpsmuseum. Saw the Lion of Lucern , flower market, Jesuit Cathedral. Went to Burheres Jendy store - another deal like the glass blowing in Venice. Then we split up till lunch. Ray goes back to hotel and I shop. Very interesting, but I head back to room and Ray finally gets in but doesn't nap. After so so lunch, while I was shopping sun comes out, The four rebels go wandering again. Must have walked every street in Lucerne trying to get to the Meistagg House and old well. Peg and I drive, the men most looking in shops and buying pastries. Finally first cable car and go up the side of small mountain to Gutch - a fancy restaurant and outside cafe where we have a grand view of all of Lucerne. Oh before we did this we find the Tower and go up there which is a little higher than Gutch I think. Also a grand view and see the Alps too. Outside we have some beer and watch the beautiful sky change to thinner clouds. Then it starts to rain. Take cable car down and walk walk in the rain looking for this Chinese restaurant. After becoming soaked we finally find it and its 5:00 pm. Place closed at 3:00 pm. Back to hotel to dry off before supper. Have a better supper. At least no veal this time. Chicken - then too tired. Go back to Chinese place for snack of egg roll and won ton soup. And so do most of our packing and off to bed.
