Up a little later and after breakfast Craig, Peggy, ray and I take a very interesting walk. The lonely lakeside and fountains and swans that spouts three feet, see flower clock. Get back about 10:30 am. On time to rush the packing and go sight seeing on the bus. Get as close to league of Nations as possible, not very satisfactory. Another bus hits Josefs' bus - no damage. Back to same restaurant for another good meal at lunch. Now is time to part company with friend waiter, and arch friend June and quiet Vivien.
Now we go on our way to Lucerne. Windows panoramic scenery again, Modern eyes saw only outskirts of Lucerne. On to picturesque Berne - watch towers and square - just wonderful and on to a town called Murton - for our rest stop - had cassata and tea and walked around - just grand - on to Intulsken - oh what a wonder of a surprise! Our hotel nestled in the mountains that is the spring prairie on one side. Long street of glorious chalets and shops on the other. Butter cups, forget me nots, narcissi . anemones, water folk clouds dripping top of the alps. Chalet - the saying of live in Paris Through Europe and stay in Switzerland!
Our hotel is superb. Old old antiques, spacious corridors, The room is a suite. Double bed, table chairs couches dressing tables, and we have a balcony with tables overlooking a Jungle and the other the beautiful alps. Peg I and Sheila take a walk and shop in all the lovely stores but Ted says its expensive and to wait until Lucerne. This proved to be wrong. After a nice super the four of us went wandering again were going to casino concert but looking in stores made it too late. Craig went back and Peg ray and I had a beer at a side-walk cafe. The waiter was delightfuly Prussian and put a green table cloth on. Shared a drink and went to bed.
