Leave awfully early towards Geneva. Hair raising trip through in around up mountains, Another panorama of splendor though. lavender fields and french alps. Through Dauphine and Sarzy regions. We stopped at the greatest little town, Strolled around over the bridge to it and into the square. People there know nothing of the world outside. Blacksmithe pasture , french bread and croissants Ray bought. So interesting. Went on through dangerous curving mountain roads once more Dauphine mountains - snow capped and beautiful. Had lunch at Cicteron! Also very clean picturesque town. Fresh cherries for dessert. Peg and I walk to pastry shop and buy french eclairs. Buy snacks for long ride on bus through alps. Go through border of France and Switzerland. more lovely towns. Probably have yesterdays trail and todays mixed up. - anyways arrive in beautiful Geneva ( Jenne smells up the bus with hairspray) Hotel... a real good room ! Comfortable and with a bath. Ted walks us over to charming cafe where we have a delicious supper and white local wine. Go for short walk with our Chinese friends and back to room where we sleep well for a change...
