Go on Brussels city S.S. tour.  Some of the same N.Y. Jewish tourists on bus.  Guide tells us about 400,000 people in Brussels.  See many historical things - walled royal family palace of the King who never really knew how rich he was.  Gave a lot of things tip in Brussels.  Go to the 1958 fair grounds and see remnants of the great fair.  The automuseum.  Miniature of Brussels, very impressive.  Hall of Justice again , Brussels square, etc.

Afterwards eat lunch at restaurant du Scheers have the le Plat du Chef for 65 French.  Very good.

Then we catch the Waterloo tour.  On way we go to magnificent Belgian Congo museum. - take pictures - lions head- little bird and on towards Mt. St. John.  where the battle was really fought.  Not in Waterloo, near big, 1815?

Come on to artificial mountain built by 300 widowed women of men lost there by working in coal mines -  after hours bringing coal to build Mt. Binet 6 years after battle.

After returning from interesting trip we promenade more of Brussels Streets and come across a Pizzaria.  Very good with nice atmosphere.

We each have 100 fr each to spend and do so except have wine also.  Ministrone, scampis, fruits and french bread.

Promenade on different streets and wind up our meal with sweets and coffee.  Tom and I have fresh beautiful strawberries, I like the most!

     And on to bed.
