July 6, 1944

 Hi Honey,

Midst thunder, lightning and a torrent of rain I once again presented myself to Florida.

     I don't know much of what goes on yet.  So far it isn't bad.

    We're right smack dab on the Gulf of Mexico.  We'll probably get to swim quite often.  Maybe I can meet up with one of them thar mermaids.  I've got about 4.673895 seconds before another formation so I'll sign off.
