My Darling,
I've been plotting and scheming again. Mom and Myles would like to go some place again while he is off but they haven't enough money, so I'm sort of raising a bank roll. When I get down to Boca I'm going to find a place for them to stay. Why don't you come along with them? It won't be so luxurious but you'll get two and a half or three meals a day, a nice cozy pup tent, and lots of sunshine and me. I should be able to get off evenings and weekends. We can go exploring together. No plans - No objective - just sort of wander around and hobnob with the natives. We could sit in the lobbies of very expensive hotels in Miami Beach. Maybe tackle a bit of deep sea fishing. During the day you can swim, ride, play tennis with Myles - Ha!' and do all sorts of things. The Post theater is only 15 cents and the P.X. probably serves delicious hamburgers. You can window shop famous Lincoln Road and even blow two bits at the Gambling Boat. Do you like Kosher corned beef on rye? They have swell sandwiches on the beach. What say Sweetheart? Mom and Myles will stay about two weeks. Come on along, huh? Mom said she'd call you so you can let her know. I'm leaving today and will wire or call you as soon as I get settled. I'm so excited I can't even write right.
How are you getting along now that you're not working? Feeling better? Getting chubby? Getting enough sleep? Hey, do you think goats milk would be any good? I can steal a goat pretty easily. Lemme know.
That's a rotten deal about Bill. Tell Carol not to give up, he's probably separated from his own company and safe and sound with some other outfit. Also tell her that Bill's a man and a soldier. She's a soldier's wife and should be proud. He expects a great deal from her and she better not let him down.
Honey, you use your own judgement about what you want to do, but if you might want to come down with Mom and Myles, do it. You'll be free to do what you want at all times. If you think you'd be better off with Adeline, go with her. but if not, come on Darling, I'm waiting.
A couple more weeks of doing nothing and you'll probably blow a fuse. I can't stand that sort of stuff either. You've got pretty good reasons to blow off.
Gee I was glad to get your letter this morning. Yah know, I not only love you, but doggone it I like you too. That's good!!
I've got to fin ish my packing so I'll come in for a landing.
Tell your Mom that I miss her and tell Eddie that I'll send him a letter from Florida.
Take care of yourself Butch. I'm going to be doing some very fancy hoping.
Love and Kisses,
Ray
