On week days I miss you most, but on Sundays I miss you the mostest. Ain't it? Every tim e I hear, " I wonder who's Kissing her Now," I cry so hard my mascara streaks down my cheeks and evry one runs away from me screaming, " It's Prune Face, " Gee whiz I sure do suffer.

I'm going to try and get home for the next three sundays. then on the fourth I will go to Florida for the rest of the winter. Do you think you could stand me three times in a row? Why not, it's better than having a toothache, or the seven year itch. For more than a year now I've been threatening to take you to the Field Museum. Let's go huh? You know, one old fossil to another. Or if you don't like that, you can take me to the Chez Paree. Or if we had a fireplace we could sit at home and pop some popcorn, if we had a paopper. Or would you rather sing hyms in tavernsand try to convert some of our brethren who have fallen. Anything for the cause. We could syphon gas from parked cars and become rich. Or I could threaten to lick any Marine in town and you could practise on first aid. Gee honey, three slugs of thus Glug and I might even go ice skating with you. Yipe! What am I saying? Would you settle for roller skating? If I must kill myself I would prefer to do it in a warm place. Gee Sugar plum, I even offer you my life. Gad, what devotion. Can you make waffles? Yah wanna know sumpin? Part of my job will be to see that the enemy is prevented from dropping bombs on women and kids. Isn't that something a guy could really work hard at? I'm not bothered at all, anymore, about not being a pilot.
