What am I working On For Fall 2024?

What am I working On For Fall 2024?

Well, sales are starting to pick up from this summer's slump.  Thank you to all my fans and customers!  A new feayture I have added to the bottom of the main menu, a separate shop just for my fine art america/ pixels store.  They have a shopify app and I import many items, but many items you can only get on THAT shop.  I am focusing right now on that shop and my Redbubble shop.  While I will still be designing daily for Blue Daisy Emporium, I am focusing on getting my older landscapes up in frame it easy frames, and designing for the items I am promoting this season.  There will be more bomber jackets from contrado, as I think they turned out well in the order, and knitwise sweaters and throws and please check out the collection pages for unboxing videos.  Many are available.  Collections an item is listed in are located in an unordered list in the upper left hand corner of each product page.

Taking a break from cindyboyd shop.com and liminaldragonfly.com as I have been designing for about six months with no sales.  Redbubble has been pretty consistent along with a few Zazzle sales.

I will be adding the whole Vintage Travel portfolio to both redbubble and pixels, as well as my raw flowers, landscapes i dig up out of my photographic archive, and Hawaii photography.

I am really focusing on photography more lately partly because I just upgraded my iphone and the macro on this one is stellar.  I can not wait to buy more flowers and take more flower photographs.  I also want to start taking the train down to Chicago for photo shoots next year.  Right now I don't make enough for a day downtown so I am kinda stuck.

At the end of next year I am planning on getting an Ipad upgrade.  Then I will have another main drawing tool.  Right now the resolution on my current ipad is not conduscive to "great works".  I do, however, have a intuos tablet by wacom and may spit out a couple holiday drawings if the mood strikes me.

Meanwhile, my podcast is over 50 downloads and doing well.  I do two enteries a week in an audio format and have it all over the web.  For the travel journals and Letters WWII projects, I am still blogging and working on Kindle Vella to piece enough transcribed together to make books.

Book one is up to seven sales!  Let me remind you if you have kindle unlimited, the book is available for free!  Please check it out.  I am turning Shirley and Ray Konen (my grandparents). into quite a couple of characters.  Their love story with the WWII letters ineterests me because My grandmother told me she almost broke up with him and went for a guy in the Navy for a little while.  This of course means I almost didn't exist.  My grandfather fancied himself a writer and I have a vague memory of him telling me about the letters, hoping someday I would showcase them.  I bet you couldn't believe his surprise when he came home in 1947 and found she had kept every single one.  They are filled with the language of the time and anecdotes of Army Air Force.

The travel journals have been more of a challenge to transcribe.  My grandmother wasn't a writer, but she took notes as she spoke.  Her handwriting was also a bit fantastical.  Very hard to discern some lines in her journals and I'm afraid I have had to skip over some parts.   All is well though, we still have stories of travel in the age of aquarious.  One of the funniest things my dad said she did was when They went to England in 68, they were in Liverpool, and she gets off the train and starts calling out Beatle?  Beatle?  Do I see a Beatle?  That would have been something.

I wish I had my father's travel journal.  It may still exist, but buried in estate boxes.  He once sat in a restaurant in London about fifteen feet from Sir Charles Chaplain.  Pretty impressive.  That was 1973.  Two years before I was born.

If you are in the market for glassware I am putting flowers on Wine glasses and wine totes, and the vintage travel images on whisky glasses.  They look fantastic.  I ordered stemless wine glasses from Printify, the company that makes most of my glassware, and they turned out great.

Some vendor changes coming up, this may be your last season to order from THIs New on my site as they have a name switch coming and will be selling the same items under Customaple starting next year sometime i hope to be able to import from them.

Through six is a favorite company of mine to work with.. they make my bucket hats, but due to a technical glitch i can only process orders from them and can not design their new items for import.  Lets clap our hands together and hope that in the wild wild west of print on demand,  they can get their app working next year as well!

Thanks for reading.  Also, please check out the youtube channel at the very bottom of the insanely long scroll website.  I have started up New products wekkly.  a narrated webtour on my mobile of all the new things added to the site in the past week.

Thanks!  check back daily!  Check back often!
