Well when I ordered two weeks ago there were three sizes and I ordered the largest size to see how stable it was. After I made my video this morning I got an email that there are now four different sizes and thusly updated the fan assortment. I have a handful of fans designed but will be working on more as I am happy with the product. The treated silk has a bit of a metallic sheen to it and looks very nice. I chose my darkest image to see how it prints and it did print a hair darker than I expected. The opening of the fan is easy, the closing I think you have to work them in they take a bit of finessing at a few folds. The sides are a sturdy almost metal like plastic and the fan fronds are a thick cardboard like plastic. It seems sturdy. My only complaint is you can't flip it closed as fast as you can open it, but for displaying artwork, its a gorgeous piece for around 20$
This new is based in China, but has printers all across the us. the order took less than two weeks to arrive.
reading the materials on the product description, the plastic is actually some kind of wood. Who knew? Feels almost like metal.
