Hawaiian Landscapes

All of my Hawaiian landscapes are taken from photography done on my family trip in 2007 to the Big Island of Hawaii. I used a cannon sure shot automatic camera and the photos made me really want to get into photography for sale. I got a lot of encouragement and within a few years I was shooting on manual dslr cameras. Hawaii was beautiful. My children were 5 and 11 at the time so the trip was a big deal. We went everywhere on the big island. It was still one of my favorite weeks of my entire life. The weather was perfect too. In the seventies and breezy with steady sun almost the whole week.
The Hawaiian Sunset Rock painting image was done with an original photo, filtered with the paint effects filter program called impression by topaz labs. I think they now package it in a collection, but its hard to find the same effects and I no longer have the program. It just mapped a stone texture over the existing image, but it did it amazingly.
