Well, I have decided to forgo lining the bag. I'm doing the whole first bag in crochet alone just to get the structure down. It will also be striped as it has taken more than half a small skein to do four rows of black, so the fifth row is in blue. I am stepping up on the rounds, so I don't think I am adding rows to make it accidentally wider. This is good. I am usually not that crochet-aware. Lol. I tend to stick to scarfs and blankets because I kind of crochet on autopilot and can not pay too much attention to a pattern. It is the same when I make peyote stitch jewelry. My crochet work is just a relaxing habit that may someday form a useful object. Art Therapy, if you will.
