A quick little Heart Drawing

I said I wasn't going to make valentines and well here I am. I make so many seasonal art pieces for home decor why not add a few valentines. Also made these cute teddy bears the other day.
I am liking just letting the shaky pen look of the digital drawing in raster programs look kind of natural. I never really truly learned how to use the pent tool in vector art programs Illustrator. This greatly vexes me. You can't make real smooth geometric lines without it. I can't afford illustrator. It would cost another 40$ a month so shaky raster graphic wacom tool pen drawing is what I get. It is not looking so bad nowadays. It has a hand drawn in digital style and feel that so many finished pieces with polish of a thousand gradients do not. Its earthy. Its a bit child like. Its eons away from my old charcoal portraits from art school, but its the way the drawing translates in this particular medium and I don't want to fight it. Thats what I always did with any medium. Don't be afraid to show the strokes and tell tale signs of whatev er medium you are working in, it brings a certain disclosed quality to the honesty of the piece. So here I am making art. Doing drawings. Have a wonderful valentines day! and check out my new valentine hershey's candys printed wrapped candies produced for Zazzle ! I'm working on putting flowers on the hershey miniatures and some cute valentine animals for the kisses.
